KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Right sector says it does not hate Russian people, that it is not Russophobic or extremist, and defends the rights of all ethnic minorities.
"Ukrainian revolutionary nationalism is not an ideology of hatred of the Russian people… Together we defend the right of all ethnic minorities (including Russians) to have their own identity and culture," Right Sector said in its address to Russian and Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine posted on social networking sites.
Right Sector said its attitude toward Russians will be the same as its attitude toward other ethnic minorities. "We will be brotherly to those who are fighting for the statehood of the Ukrainian nation together with us, tolerant of those who recognize our right to decide our own fate on our land, and hostile toward those who deny us this right," the address says.
