KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Arsen Avakov, acting interior minister of Ukraine, said he grieves for the law enforcement officials who were killed during the recent riots in Ukraine.
"It's not only your pain, it's the pain of the whole state," Avakov said in a statement posted on the ministry's website on Sunday evening.
Avakov promised that the families of the law enforcement officials who were killed will receive guaranteed social security and that the victims will be provided with everything they need.
At the same time, he said he will do everything to punish the people responsible for the bloodshed.
