U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Burns to visit Kyiv

KYIV. Feb 25 (Interfax) - U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns is expected to visit Kyiv on February 25-26, the U.S. embassy in Ukraine said on Facebook.

Burns is to hold consultations with the Ukrainian political leaders, businessmen and representatives of civil society on U.S. support for Ukraine in matters of building a stable, democratic and secure future for all Ukrainians, the U.S. embassy said.

Burns is to hold talks with Verkhovna Rada head Oleksandr Turchynov, leader of the Batkivshchina party faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk and other Ukrainian lawmakers, it said.
