Crimean speaker Konstantynov recognizes Yanukovych as incumbent president

KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The Speaker of the Crimean Supreme Council, Volodymyr Konstantynov, calls Viktor Yanukovych the incumbent president of Ukraine.

"The Crimean Supreme Council is a legitimately elected body. This is all we recognize. Today there is the incumbent president, Viktor Fedorovych Yanukovych, who stated that he has not stepped down," he told reporters in Simferopol.
