There is currently no need to send Russian troops to Ukraine - Putin (Part 2)

NOVO-OGARYOVO. March 4 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said there is currently no need to send Russian troops to Ukraine.

"As to the sending of troops, there is currently no such need," Putin told reporters.

"However, there is such a possibility," he said.

Putin reiterated that the recent military exercises conducted by Russia "are not connected to the events in Ukraine."
