MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax-AVN) - The U.S. destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG-103) carrying the Aegis Combat System is set to pass through the Bosporus and Dardanelles Straits and enter the Black Sea on March 7, a Russian military-diplomatic source told Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.
"The American destroyer is armed with the Aegis attack weapon system," he said.
The source said he was unaware "where the U.S. destroyer is heading and for what purpose."
