MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - Temporary housing sites are being created in the Russian regions for refugees from Ukraine, in particular, almost 200 such facilities have been established in the Kursk region.
The administration of the Kursk region has taken all measures necessary to help fellow citizens, who are in Ukraine, member of the Federation Council of the Kursk region, Vitaly Bogdanov, told reporters.
"We have established a total of 192 temporary housing sites to place citizens coming from Ukraine, which can accommodate 44,000 people, and 33 sites for 7,000 people have been created additionally in the regions bordering Ukraine," Bogdanov said.
