Turkish man's suspected killer held in Armenia

YEREVAN. March 17 (Interfax) - A 54-year-old Turkish man, Evlia Gumustek, has been killed in the town of Gyumri in northern Armenia, the Armenian police told Interfax on Monday.

The Turkish citizen was admitted with multiple stab wounds to the Gyumri Medical Center on March 15, where he died later.

As a result of a search conducted on March 16 police arrested a 24-year-old Maxim Bakoyan, the Armenian police said.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 104(1) of the Armenian Criminal Code (homicide). An inquiry is under way.
