MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - The election of the central Ukrainian authorities must be held after a new Constitution is passed and simultaneously with elections in every constituent region of the federation, Moscow officials said.
"Once the new Constitution is approved, a nationwide election of the central Ukrainian authorities must be called, with broad and objective international monitoring and with simultaneous elections of legislative and executive authorities in every constituent region of the federation," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement over the group of support for Ukraine on Monday.
The election clause must be one of the objectives of the group that would include Russia, the EU and the U.S., Moscow said.
