SIMFEROPOL. March 17 (Interfax) - The parliament in Crimea has resolved to transfer the Crimean portions of hydrocarbon producer Chornomornaftogaz and natural gas pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz to republican ownership.
"[T]he Republic of Crimea has ownership of movable and immovable property of State Stock Company Chornomornaftogaz located on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, its continental shelf and exclusive (maritime) economic zone, incorporated into charter capital or not in non-current (including immaterial) and current assets, including state (Ukraine) property transferred to its use and located on or off the balance sheet," according to the text of the resolution posted on the Crimean parliament's website.
The same applies to Ukrtransgaz property "located on the territory of the Republic of Crimea."
In addition, the resolution gives Crimea ownership of the Feodosia Oil Product Supply Enterprise (FNONP).
The republican Council of Ministers has given its assent to formation of Republic of Crimea companies: Chernomorneftegaz and Feodosia Oil Product Supply Enterprise.
