MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax-AVN) - OJSC Ilyushin Aviation Complex's orders are estimated at over 510 billion rubles, Ilyukhin's general director and general designer Viktor Livanov told Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
"The orders, coupled with serial deliveries through 2020, are estimated at about 515 billion rubles, which is the Ilyushin Aviation Complex's potential order portfolio," he said.
Under the serial orders through 2020 the company is to make 12 Il-112V aircraft, 39 Il-76MD-90A's, three Il-78M tanker aircraft and about 16 MTS Russian-Indian planes, he said.
"No contract has been conclude yet for Il-112Vs, but a contract for the delivery of 39 Il-76s has been signed. We are doing research and development work under an Il-78 contract, although no serial contract has been signed. There is no contract either for MTS jets," Livanov said.
In addition to this, the company is to upgrade four IL-96 aircraft complete with an airborne command post, control point and combined communication center (with an investment amounting to 882.91 million rubles.)
"It is an open secret that our state leaders fly Il-96s, and the Kremlin continues ordering such planes as well as their modernization," he said.
