KYIV. March 20 (Interfax) - The actions of the Russian authorities will have serious consequences for bilateral Ukrainian-Russian relations, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinys said.
"Certainly, the actions currently being made by Russia will not go on without a response. Everything that is happening now will have serious consequences for the bilateral Ukrainian-Russian relations," he said at a Wednesday briefing.
The Ukrainian leaders are discussing what consequences exactly there can be for Moscow's actions, he said when asked about a possible break-up of diplomatic ties with Russia. "Which consequences exactly - this matter is also being discussed at the highest level in the state. And, I think, appropriate decisions will be made in the very near future," Perebyinys said.
