BRUSSELS. March 25 (Interfax) - NATO is concerned about the reports on the enhanced presence of Russian servicemen near the Ukrainian border, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said at a news conference in Brussels on Tuesday.
NATO is very concerned about Russia's military concentration near the Ukrainian border, Rasmussen said.
When asked by reporters about NATO plans in case an unforeseen situation related to Ukraine occurs, Rasmussen did not reply as NATO does not comment on such questions.
NATO always has plans to protect its allies within the Alliance and it has all the plans ready to ensure the effective protection of its allies, Rasmussen said.
The Alliance is currently discussing with Ukraine ways to enhance support, Rasmussen said.
