KYIV. March 31 (Interfax) - The U.S. government has supplied the Ukrainian armed forces with about 330,000 Meal, Ready to Eat (MRE) individual food field rations as aid.
A truck convoy delivered the last shipment of the aid to Ukraine on Saturday, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
Maj. Alexis Scott of the defense section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv officially handed over the shipment to the foreign relations chief of Ukraine's General Staff, Col. Olexander Ostrovsky, who promised the rations would be quickly distributed among military units.
