KYIV. March 31 (Interfax) - The situation on the eastern borders of Ukraine is stable, there has been a reduction in the number of Russian troops, Deputy Chief of the Main Commanding Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Rozmaznin said.
"The situation on the eastern borders is stable … the number of troops on the eastern border has dropped," Rozmaznin said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
"I cannot give the (exact) figure because it is approximate," he said.
