KYIV. April 8 (Interfax) - Ukraine is ready for international dialogue but Russia must stop meddling and de-escalate the situation, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
"Ukraine is ready for the international settlement process and a dialogue in formats that can yield practical results within a clearly-defined time perspective," the ministry said on Tuesday.
"Ukraine demands that the Russian Federation should immediately stop its interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine and honor its public obligations to de-escalate the situation," it said.
"The principled elements of the settlement process should be: discontinuation by Russia of its aggressive actions, rhetoric and subversive activities against our state, Russia's renouncement of the invasion plans posing a direct threat to all its neighbor states and international peace and security, withdrawal of Russian Armed Forces from the Ukrainian borders and from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," the Ukrainian foreign ministry said.
