Turchynov: Those who lay down arms by Monday morning will be amnestied

KYIV. April 14 (INtefax) - Ukraine's parliamentary speaker and acting president, Oleksandr Turchynov, said those who did not open fire at law enforcement personnel and who will lay down arms and vacate the administrative buildings, seized in eastern regions, by Monday morning, will be amnestied.

"I have signed a decree guaranteeing that no punishment will be administered against those who did not fire shots at law enforcement personnel and who will lay down arms and leave the seized administrative buildings by Monday morning," he said in an address on Sunday.
