KYIV. April 16 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Acting Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchitsa has said that as far as he knows Russia has made no final decision yet on whether it will take part in the four-party talks over the Ukrainian crisis in Geneva on April 17.
"Today I have confirmation of the U.S. and European attendance. As far as I understand, Mr. Lavrov has yet to make a final decision, because Russia set an ultimatum over the unacceptability of the use of force against protestors in the eastern regions of Ukraine," Deshchitsa said at a briefing on Wednesday.
It is not ruled out that the meeting could be held in a tripartite format, and Kyiv is ready for such a possibility as well, he said.
