MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is due to leave for Geneva any time soon to attend a four-party meeting (Russia-U.S.-EU-Ukraine) concerning the Ukrainian crisis, a Russian delegation source told reporters.
"Sergei Lavrov is heading to Geneva, where he will take part in the four-way meeting on Ukraine," he said.
The Russian minister is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings in Geneva as well, the source said.
Russia's envoy to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov, confirmed to the U.S. television station CNN on Wednesday that Lavrov would attend the planned four-party meeting on Ukraine in Geneva on April 17.
