Putin will express his attitude to European and U.S. sanctions during hotline - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin will give an exhaustive answer to European and U.S. sanctions during the hotline, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov believes.

"I don't doubt that the president will give an exhaustive evaluation of any decisions on sanctions made in European capitals and in the U.S. The attitude toward the sanctions in the questions [to the president] is extremely negative. Sometimes patriotic bravado is expressed: "May they all go to hell, and we don't need them at all. We will do without them and it will be even better," Peskov said in an interview with Russia 24 channel.

He said some of the people sending their questions for the hotline with the president concerning the sanctions note that it is a blessing in disguise.
