KYIV. April 18 (Interfax) - The bill on the amnesty in 2014, passed on April 8, was posted in the Voice of Ukraine newspaper on Friday and, according to its provisions, it comes into effect the day after it is published - on April 19.
It has been reported that the Verkhovna Rada passed the bill on the amnesty in 2014 with 231 votes, which foresees pardoning convicts who committed less serious crimes and those who are unprotected and socially vulnerable.
According to the bill, the amnesty applies to minors, parents of children below 18 years old and of disabled children.
