KYIV. April 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Security Service has detained a Ukrainian citizen who tried to start disturbances in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian Security Service press secretary Maryna Ostapenko said.
"The Ukrainian Security Service has detained a citizen of Ukraine for plotting mass disturbances in the Donetsk region, including violence, seizure of buildings and armed resistance to persons in authority, together with other individuals," she told a press briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
A criminal case was opened on the counts of "an attempt to start mass disturbances."
