KYIV. April 18 (Interfax) - The leaders of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will meet with members of an OSCE monitoring mission on Friday to discuss the implementation of the agreements achieved at a quadripartite meeting in Geneva on April 17 between representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the United States, and the European Union.
"This meeting will take place today, if I'm not mistaken, at 5:30 p.m. [local time] at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry," acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsya said at a news conference in Kyiv on Friday.
The ambassador of Switzerland, the country currently holding OSCE chairmanship, and the leaders of the OSCE monitoring mission will take part in the meeting as well, he said.
"We want to discuss the schedule and the OSCE monitoring mission's involvement in the de-escalation process and the transfer of buildings," Deshchytsya said, referring apparently to the buildings housing local administrative and security agencies in a number of locations in the southeastern part of the country, which have been seized by armed activists.
Over 100 members of the OSCE monitoring mission are already working in Ukraine, including in its eastern part, he said.
"In light of the need to implement the agreements, we will ask mission leadership to send more monitors to Donetsk so that, if need be, they could be present at several locations simultaneously," he said.
