Putin, Russian Security Council permanent members discuss situation in Ukraine

NOVO-OGARYOVO. April 21 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin held a briefing with Russian Security Council permanent members on Friday, the Kremlin press office said.

The pressing situation in Ukraine, including the talks in Geneva on April 17 and agreements reached following the negotiations, have been discussed during the meeting.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, speaker of both parliament's chamber Valentina Matviyenko and Sergei Naryshkin, Kremlin administration head Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and his Deputy Rashid Nurgaliyev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Shoigu, FSB Head Alexander Bortnikov, External Intelligence Service Head Mikhail Fradkov and Security Council permanent member Boris Gryzlov attended the meeting.
