MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - The Russian troops stationed near Russia's border with Ukraine are not having any impact on the events in the eastern region of this country, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Our troops are deployed in various regions, there are troops near the Ukrainian border too, some permanently, others sent as reinforcement against the backdrop of what is happening in Ukraine proper," Peskov said on the Sunday Night with Vladimir Solovyov program.
