Kremlin spokesman describes Kyiv's decision to deny entry to Russian men aged 16-60 as stupid

MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has described Kyiv's decision to deny entry to Ukraine to Russian male citizens aged from 16 to 60 as stupid.

"Unfortunately, it is hard to imagine greater stupidity than the adoption of such measures between the two countries, Russia and Ukraine," Peskov said in a TV program on Russian television.

Russian citizens are not affecting the events ongoing in eastern Ukraine in any way, he said.

"Only those who have unfortunately come to power through a coup can calm down the people in the east, and only those who have sent the armed forces to disperse peaceful demonstrations can do that," he said.
