First of Bulava launches in 2014 won't take place before September - source

MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Navy plans to restart test launches of Bulava sea-based intercontinental ballistic missiles in the autumn, a source in the Russian space rocket industry told Interfax-AVN on Monday.

"The first Bulava launch following last year's failure will be tentatively carried out in September," he said.

"It has yet to be decided from what nuclear missile submarine the launches will be carried out - the Alexander Nevsky, or the Vladimir Monomakh," the source said.
