ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 12 (Interfax) - The customs post Izvarino, Luhansk customs service of Ukraine, has temporarily stopped working. The car checkpoint Donetsk on the Russian side of the border continues working.
"The customs post Izvarino, Luhansk customs of Ukraine, is temporarily closed to private individuals and motor vehicles," the Southern Customs Department said in a report.
The customs post Donetsk, Millerovskaya customs of the Southern Customs Department of the Russian Federal Customs Service, is ready to work with private individuals and motor vehicles traveling to Ukraine and the customs personnel are in their workplaces.
According to earlier reports, a group of unknown individuals attacked the checkpoint Izvarino in the evening of May 8, causing a fire and damaging equipment.
