MINSK. May 15 (Interfax) - Ukraine needs stable authorities to be formed after the presidential election, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry opined.
"We believe that under the current circumstances Ukraine imperatively needs stable authorities, the legitimacy of which will rest upon the presidential election outcomes, Belarusian Foreign Ministry press secretary Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing in Minsk on Thursday.
In his words, the Ukrainian conflict should be resolved on unity principles.
"We think that the Ukrainian conflict should be resolved on the principles of unity rather than division," Mironchik answered a question about the Belarusian attitude toward the May 11 referendum in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
