Ukraine's Security Service heads says 11 accounts of Yanukovych seized

KYIV. May 19 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian law enforcement authorities have seized some accounts of Viktor Yanukovych and other former officials, Ukrainian Security Service Head Valentin Nalyvaychenko said.

"A total of 25 accounts of Serhiy Kurchenko, 11 accounts of Viktor Yanukovych in Ukraine, nine accounts of former Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko, and 13 accounts of former Ukrainian Security Service Head Yakymenko have been seized. These are money, gold and everything, what should stay in the state. Our belief is that this should be returned to the budget," Nalyvaychenko said at a news conference in Kyiv on Monday.

The law enforcement authorities insist that these cases be transferred to courts as quickly as possible and be tried immediately, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said.
