BRUSSELS. June 5 (Interfax) - G7 summit delegates confirmed their decision in a joint communique on Wednesday evening to impose sanctions on individuals and legal entities, which had actively supported violations of the Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity or committed such violations themselves and threatened the Ukrainian security and stability.
"We are implementing a strict policy of non-recognition with respect to Crimea/Sevastopol, in line with UN General Assembly Resolution 68/262. We stand ready to intensify targeted sanctions and to implement significant additional restrictive measures to impose further costs on Russia should events so require," the G7 document runs.
