MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - Russia does not plan to suspend inspections under the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START), Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
"Inspections will proceed in full format, without digressions from schedules and formats stipulated by the START treaty," Ryabkov said in an interview with Interfax.
After the U.S. decided to stop military cooperation with Russia amid the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, some media outlets reported citing their sources that Moscow was considering the possibility of suspending receptions of groups of foreign inspectors under START.
