ASTANA. June 23 (Interfax) - A Kazakh cosmonaut may go on an International Space Station (ISS) mission with a Russian crew in 2017, Kazakh National Space Agency (Kazcosmos) Chairman Talgat Musabayev said.
"Nothing has changed. We are interacting with the Russian side, Roscosmos. We are also working with Chinese partners and assessing the possibility of such flight for Kazakh citizens aboard Chinese vehicles," he said in Government Hour at the Majilis, the parliament lower house, on Monday.
"A concrete mission, not just an option, is being discussed with the Russian Federation," he said.
