MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has drawn up regulations for the center to deter cyber threats, CSTO Deputy Secretary General Khaibullo Latypov said.
"The issue is passing through the initial organizational stage. Center regulations have been drawn up," he said at a seminar in Moscow.
The matter will be coordinated with CSTO member states and the chiefs of state will sign a decision to set up the center, Latypov said.
Information security is a keynote element of the collective security system, the deputy secretary general pointed out.
"The provision of information security has become an important and integral element of the CSTO collective security system, which is being formed in a consistent and purposeful fashion. I am pleased to confirm the development of fruitful cooperation and use of the combined potential for building up regional stability," Latypov said.
