KYIV. June 26 (Interfax) - Rebels have carried out 40 attacks on Ukrainian military roadblocks and bases and destroyed infrastructure nine times since the truce was announced, said Volodymyr Chepovoy, a spokesman for the National Security and Defense Council.
"In all, nine instances of damage to infrastructure have been registered from June 20 through 25," he said at a briefing on Wednesday.
"This testifies to the deliberate and systemic violation of the peace plan of the Ukrainian president (aimed at settling the situation in east Ukraine) and terrorists getting out of control," Chepovoy said.
The spokesman would not say how many times government forces got involved in clashes during the period.
