LUHANSK. June 27 (Interfax) - The parliament of the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People's Republic" has adopted a law to establish the republic's own State Security Committee.
"This law regulates the purpose, composition, legal foundations and principles of the functioning of the State Security Committee of the Luhansk People's Republic. The document also determines areas of work, powers, forces and means of the agencies of the State Security Committee, as well as the procedures of control and oversight over the operations of the State Security Committee," according to a report posted on the website of the "Luhansk People's Republic".
The law includes six chapters and 30 articles.
