MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - The Rostov region governor has put into place an emergency situation regime throughout the region amid the influx of Ukrainian refugees, the regional government press service reports.
"Governor V. Golubev has announced the emergency situation regime in another six cities and 34 districts of the region," it said.
Earlier the emergency situation regime was declared in 15 border territories, including the cities of Azov, Gukovo, Donetsk, Zverevo, Novoshakhtinsk and Taganrog and the Neklinovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, Kuibyshevsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky, Krasnosulinsky, Kamensky, Tarasovsky, Millerovsky and Chertkovsky districts.
The governor has ordered to spread the emergency situation regime throughout the region now.
"This measure will help the rapid and legal deployment of shelters and the provision of food to the affected persons," the report said.
