MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - A Chechen native suspected of production and storage of narcotic drugs will be extradited from Germany to Russia on Thursday.
"The relevant authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany will extradite today Russian citizen Mauldin Gavdakhanov at the request of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office," the office told Interfax.
Gavdakhanov is charged under part 2, article 228 of the Russian Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, production and storing of large quantities of narcotic drugs without intent to distribute).
Detectives said Grozny resident Gavdakhanov produced hashish oil from wild hemp for personal consumption in June 2013.
He was put on federal and international most wanted lists in July 2013 and detained in Germany in November 2013.
