MOSCOW. July 7 (Interfax-AVN) - More than 20 crews of the Russian Air Force, one Navy aircraft crew and four crews of foreign air forces will take part in the Aviadarts 2014 contest in Voronezh, Lipetsk and the Pogonovo training range on July 22-28, the Russian Defense Ministry press service and information department said.
"It will involve operative, tactical, military transport and long-range aircraft of Russia: planes Sukhoi Su-25SM, Su-25, Mikoyan MiG-29SMT, MiG-29, Su-27SM, Su-27, Su-24, Ilyushin Il-76MD, Tupolev Tu-22M3, helicopters Kamov Ka-52, Mil Mi-24, Mi-8MT and Mi-8MTV5, China's Sukhoi Su-30MKK and Sukhoi Su-25 of the Republic of Belarus," says a report seen by Interfax-AVN on Monday.
Crews will contest in the field of physical fitness, aerial navigation and reconnaissance, piloting skills and combat use depending on their arm of service.
