MOSCOW. July 7 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences over the death of former Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze.
Putin has extended "deep condolences to family, close ones and entire Georgian nation," Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax on Monday.
