MOSCOW,. July 8 (Interfax) - A highly-placed source in the Russian Defense Ministry described as groundless Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletey's statement that, "a victory parade will soon be held in the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol."
"I would like to remind the Ukrainian defense minister that Crimea and Sevastopol became integrated with the Russian Federation as a result of a free and voluntary choice made in an pan-Crimean referendum on March 16, and is an inalienable part of Russia," the source told Russian journalists.
He also said that such statements "only reflect the depth of general degradation of the Ukrainian military leadership."
