MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - Debris of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 jetliner, which crashed in the Donetsk region on Thursday, is scattered on a 12-kilometer radius. The area is cordoned off and protected, self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) First Vice-Premier Andrei Purgin told Interfax.
"It seems the plane fell in pieces in mid-air. Boeing debris and bodies are scattered on the radius of twelve kilometers," he said.
"Six hundred men have cordoned off the area. They are ordered to safeguard the plane debris and the bodies," the first vice-premier said.
