DPR leaders promise to ensure safety for air crash investigators

MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - The leaders of the self-proclamied Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have promised to ensure safety for everyone involved in the inquiry into the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in the crash area.

"There is an agreement. We will certainly ensure full safety locally, in this area. Although so far a total truce is out of question. For now it is unlikely to be possible," DPR first deputy prime minister Andriy Purgin told Interfax.

He said there will be a ceasefire on both sides in the area where investigative procedures will take place. "In this situation, it is necessary to ensure all working conditions for the team of experts and investigators. Each side understands this matter," he said.
