KYIV. July 21 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said the Ukrainian leadership has satellite images of the launch site from which the Malaysian Boeing was shot down.
"We have satellite images of the launch site," Poroshenko said.
The Ukrainian president earlier blamed the Donetsk region's militia for the air disaster.
Malaysia Airlines' Boeing 777 flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in the Donetsk region on July 17, killing 298 people. The Ukrainian Security Service launched a criminal inquiry into the air disaster on counts of "terror attack."
Poroshenko spoke about the satellite images during telephone talks with French President Francois Hollande, the Ukrainian president's press service said.
