Military attaches of 33 countries to watch Aviadarts 2014 final stage

MOSCOW. July 24 (Interfax-AVN) - Military attaches of 33 countries will watch the Aviadarts 2014 international piloting contest on July 26, Russian Air Force spokesman Col. Igor Klimov told Interfax on Thursday.

"They will represent Brazil, Vietnam, Israel, Peru, Serbia, South Africa, Japan, Uruguay, South Korea, North Korea and other countries. Official delegations of Iran, China, India, Pakistan, Egypt and Kazakhstan will be present at the competition, too," he said.

Kazakhstan has confirmed its participation in next year's contest, and pilots from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and India may join in, too.

The July 26 event will open with an avia-mix involving crews of T-50, Sukhoi Su-35, Su-34 and Su-30, Kamov Ka-52 and Mil Mi-28N, fighters, bombers and attack aircraft of various modifications of Sukhoi Su-24, Su-25 and Su-27 and Mikoyan MiG-29, army, military transport and long-range aviation aircraft Tupolev Tu-22, Ilyushin Il-76 and Il-78, Tupolev Tu-160 and Mil Mi-8, Mi-24 and Mi-26, as well as aerobatic teams Berkuty, Sokoly Rossii and Russkiye Vityazi.

The first international piloting contest, Aviadarts 2014 started on the premises of the Voronezh Air Defense Academy on July 22.
