Four Ukrainian army soldiers killed, 35 injured in east Ukraine over past 24 hours

KYIV. July 24 (Interfax) - Four Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen have been killed and another 35 have been injured during the military operation in Ukraine's eastern regions over the past 24 hours, the spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Lysenko, has said.

"Four servicemen have been killed. National Guard Colonel Oleksandr Radiyevsky was among them," Lysenko said at a press briefing on Thursday.

The Ukrainian army's checkpoints in the area of the military operation have come under fire some 20 times in the past 24 hours, he added.
