Situation in Horlivka relatively quiet, ten houses damaged in artillery fire - city council

KYIV. Aug 4 (Interfax) - The situation in Horlivka has been relatively quiet as of noon (1 p.m. Moscow time) on Monday, but public transport services are operating on a limited basis, the city council said.

About ten houses in the village of Korolenko were damaged in an overnight artillery strike, the city council said. The fires were put out by emergency teams.

"There is still no water supply in the villages of Shakhta Imeni Lenina, Komsomolskiy and Bessarabka because of no electricity. Gas supplies have resumed in five houses in Pobedy Prospekt. The repair work continues," the statement said.
