ASTANA. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan is exploring different options for its economy for possible further sanctions imposed by the West on Russia.
"In accordance with your request, we have developed a separate plan that will be put in place if further sanctions are imposed on Russia and if the situation with Ukraine exacerbates," Kazakh Economics and Budget Planning Minister Yerbolat Dosayev said at a government meeting attended by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, which was held in Astana on Wednesday.
Dosayev said this plan will be updated in September 2014.
