First factory test flight of PAK DA aircraft due in 2019 - AF commander

BALASHIKHA (Moscow region). Aug 11 (Interfax-AVN) - The first flight of the Prospective Air Complex for Long-Range Aviation (PAK DA) has been set for 2019. The first supplies to the army are expected in 2021, said the Commander-in-chief of the Russian Air Force, Col. Gen. Viktor Bondarev.

"The new air complex is due to make its first factory takeoff in 2019 and with supplies to start in 2021," Bondarev said at a press briefing on the eve of the Russian Air Force Day on Monday.
