MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The European ATV-5 space vehicle has lifted the orbit of the International Space Station (ISS) by two kilometers, Interfax-AVN was told at Russian flight control near Moscow.
"The test adjustment [of the orbit] with the help of ATV has been completed," a spokesman for flight control said.
According to ballistic estimates, an impetus of 1.1 m/s was given to the station. The average altitude of the orbit is 461 kilometers.
